Looking For The Droids In The Badlands

We went to the badlands in South Dakota this past summer.  There were several spots to pull off the road and take some scenic pictures.  My family hid in the van while I snapped a few shots with my Imperial backup.  The other tourists didn't know whether to look at the scenery or what in the world I was up to.

Eye see you

Most of the slug is out of focus, except for its eye.  When curled up, the entire thing was smaller than an eraser on the end of a pencil.

My First Fireworks

This was my first attempt at fireworks.  Nothing too spectacular, but I had fun.

Ant and More

All I wanted to do was get a close-up of the common ant.  No offense to the ant.  But there is more going on in this image than I thought.  Does anyone know what the other critters are?

Lily and a Lilypad

The lily is in our backyard.  The lilypad was in Spruce Woods Provincial Park.
